adultos mayores, los sistemas estatal\ny municipal para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia (DIF) llevaron a cabo\npl\u00e1ticas dirigidas a los adultos mayores sobre Derechos humanos, programas y\nacciones para mejor su calidad de vida, adem\u00e1s de que se les brind\u00f3 informaci\u00f3n\nsobre la labor de los grupos multidisciplinarios que apoyan al adulto mayor los\nsiete d\u00edas de la semana las 24 horas del d\u00eda.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;line-height:\nnormal\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt;font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,sans-serif\">La\nPresidenta Municipal de Chimalhuac\u00e1n, X\u00f3chitl Flores Jim\u00e9nez, destac\u00f3 que los\nadultos mayores son parte fundamental del cambio y transformaci\u00f3n que se est\u00e1\ndando en nuestro municipio. \u201cEn coordinaci\u00f3n con autoridades estatales, estamos\nllevando a cabo estas pl\u00e1ticas, porque en estos dos a\u00f1os de pandemia nos dimos\ncuenta que el sector m\u00e1s afectado fueron ustedes, pero ahora ya est\u00e1n de vuelta\ny les queremos agradecer lo mucho que nos han dado\u201d, dijo la Mun\u00edcipe.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;line-height:\nnormal\"><span Jim\u00e9nez les dijo que han aportado mucho para\nel municipio, por lo que se sigue trabajando en las Casas de D\u00eda, donde pueden\ntomar diferentes cursos, como computaci\u00f3n. \u201cNunca es tarde para aprender cosas\nnuevas, hay que estar actualizados en la tecnolog\u00eda y a la vanguardia\u201d, agreg\u00f3.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p><p representaci\u00f3n del DIFEM, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que, de\nacuerdo a la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud (OMS), aproximadamente una de\ncada seis personas mayores de 60 a\u00f1os sufri\u00f3 alg\u00fan tipo de maltrato en los\nentornos comunitarios, 70 por ciento de los trabajadores mayores de 60 a\u00f1os\nsufrieron maltrato y el 33.4 por ciento maltrato psicol\u00f3gico.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;line-height:\nnormal\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt;font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,sans-serif\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;line-height:\nnormal\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt;font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,sans-serif\">\u201cEn la\npandemia hubo maltrato econ\u00f3mico y patrimonial hacia este sector de la\npoblaci\u00f3n, las estad\u00edsticas sobre el maltrato a la vejez son datos alejados de\nla realidad, debido a que la mayor\u00eda de los adultos mayores que lo viven no lo\ndenuncian, porque no aceptan que est\u00e1n siendo maltratados, tienen temor, creen\nque es temporal, no quieren que su familiar vaya a la c\u00e1rcel o desconocen a que\nautoridad dirigirse\u201d, dijo.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;line-height:\nnormal\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt;font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,sans-serif\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;line-height:\nnormal\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt;font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,sans-serif\">Mientras\nque la coordinadora de Adulto Mayor del DIFEM, Karina Luna G\u00f3mez, record\u00f3 que\nla Ley del Adulto Mayor defiende los intereses de este sector de la poblaci\u00f3n y,\nde igual forma, han firmado convenios con diferentes dependencias para evitar\nque se violen sus derechos humanos. \u201cQueremos que sepan que contamos con 125\ngrupos multidisciplinarios en todo el Estado de M\u00e9xico, uno por cada municipio,\npara atenderlos las 24 horas del d\u00eda, siete d\u00edas a la semana; estos grupos\ncuentan con las \u00e1reas de atenci\u00f3n al maltrato y violencia f\u00edsica y verbal, Gerontolog\u00eda\ny jur\u00eddico, aqu\u00ed en Chimalhuac\u00e1n hay un grupo de \u00e9stos para atenderlos a\nustedes\u201d, concluy\u00f3.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;line-height:\nnormal\"><span
