line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">De enero al 18 de mayo de 2023, el Gobierno de Chimalhuac\u00e1n ha realizado 3 mil 293 esterilizaciones y 201 desparasitaciones en mascotas y animales de calle, tambi\u00e9n ha aplicado 157 vacunas, entregado en adopci\u00f3n a 67 animales, ejecutado 132 aseguramientos de perros agresores y brindado 477 servicios de consulta, a trav\u00e9s del Departamento de Control de Zoonosis y Bienestar Animal de la Direcci\u00f3n de Salud.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Esto con el fin de proteger la salud e integridad de vida de vecinas y vecinos, y de los propios animales de compa\u00f1\u00eda, por lo que tambi\u00e9n mantiene e intensifica sus Jornadas de Vacunaci\u00f3n y Esterilizaci\u00f3n en colonias y barrios de la demarcaci\u00f3n, a cuya poblaci\u00f3n solicita su colaboraci\u00f3n para la obtenci\u00f3n de mejores resultados.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">El Departamento de Control de Zoonosis y Bienestar Animal hace especial \u00e9nfasis en la tenencia responsable de perros y gatos, y en abatir la nociva pr\u00e1ctica de abandonarlos en calles, avenidas o cualquier otra \u00e1rea p\u00fablica, para as\u00ed evitar su sufrimiento por hambre, enfermedad, accidente o agresiones, as\u00ed como su defecaci\u00f3n al aire libre y enfermedades zoon\u00f3ticas que deriven de ello o en agresiones a personas.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Recuerda que la zoonosis es cualquier enfermedad infecciosa susceptible de pasar de animales a humanos a trav\u00e9s de bacterias, virus, par\u00e1sitos o agentes no convencionales, sea por contacto directo o a trav\u00e9s de alimentos, agua o medio ambiente, y que perros y gatos abandonados contribuyen a esta zoonosis a trav\u00e9s de sus excrementos al aire libre, lo que finalmente perjudica la salud humana.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">El Departamento de Control de Zoonosis y Bienestar Animal destaca, al mismo tiempo, que por fortuna no se han registrado en Chimalhuac\u00e1n ni en el Estado de M\u00e9xico ning\u00fan caso de rabia, enfermedad que puede resultar en la muerte de la persona infectada, como desafortunadamente ha sucedido en otras entidades, pero que es necesario mantener y reforzar las medidas preventivas, como la tenencia responsable de mascotas, as\u00ed como su vacunaci\u00f3n oportuna y la esterilizaci\u00f3n, cuando \u00e9sta sea necesaria.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Por lo anterior, reitera su invitaci\u00f3n a participar en las campa\u00f1as de vacunaci\u00f3n y esterilizaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como en la tenencia responsable de
